The Dragon’s Den Concession Stand
It is exciting to see the LAHS athletic campus grow and provide state of the art playing fields for the Green Dragons. However as our fields expand so does the need for proper facilities to support our teams and fans. THE LAHS Alumni Association has taken on a new project to raise funds for a Concession Stand in a proposed new facility called the Dragons’ Den.
The Dragons’ Den, a facility to support student athletes, their families and the community, will be located on the LAHS campus between the Brandon Kramm Baseball Field and the turf soccer/lacrosse field. In addition to the concession stand, the facility will house restrooms, a trainer’s room and storage areas for team equipment and maintenance items. The Green Dragon Foundation is spear-heading the fundraising efforts for the total $525,000 project.
The cost of “naming” the concession stand portion of the building is $100,000. We are off to a good start since an anonymous alum has generously offered a challenge. They will match any gift from an alum towards this concession stand project up to $25,000. With this exciting match and with your support, we think achieving the goal is within our reach. Simply write your check to the Green Dragon Foundation with a notation on the memo line for the Concession Stand and the generous alum will match it! Large gifts can be paid over a 3-year period by completing a pledge form. It will still count towards the match! We look forward to seeing the Lewisburg Alumni name on the concession stand.
